To owners who live not too far away I offer a service of hand stripping and trimming which will keep your dog looking as a Westie should look. I describe this look as “tidily shaggy” or “shaggily tidy”. In short, it gives one an easy to groom coat which looks natural but without that rather severe and unattractive clippered look one sees today.

AFTER ALL THE WESTIE IS KNOWN AS A ROUGH HAIRED TERRIER

Most Picklepeg puppies, indeed some of the older bitches too, become much loved and admired family pets and lead the life of Riley!! Nothing pleases me more than to see them go to such loving and caring homes where they enjoy a family environment with excursions and holidays, with good food, lots of walks and play ending, perhaps, with a snooze at Master’s feet, or better still on someone’s lap?
